The current owner acquired this property in 2005 and has since then invested a significant renovation in all hotel rooms, lobby and exterior facade. In addition, since 2008 we have been able to offer our guests accommodation in newly renovated apartments located in close proximity to the hotel. The apartments enable us to offer guests wishing to stay close to the center, but more "as home", a perfect alternative to ordinary hotel rooms.
Viking Hotel Tromsø AS is an independent hotel not affiliated with any chain, which provides us with both challenges and opportunities. We choose to focus on the possibilities, and based on our flexibility and freedom we are happy to tailor a residence for guests who have special needs when it comes to both accommodation and experiences. Our staff is always available in our 24-7 open reception, and will strive to give our visitors great tips and advice and possibly help with the booking of adventure tours, restaurants, etc.

In the parking underground - NOK 95, - per day.
